Kamran Jawaid, born April 29, 1982 in Karachi - Pakistan, is a filmmaker and film critic. Also credited as Mohammad Kamran Jawaid and MKJ, he is the senior film critic for Images on Sunday (previously iMAGES), the Sunday magazine which appears with the Dawn Newspaper, Dawn.com, and MAG the Weekly. Mr. Jawaid has a dedicated film review column titled 'Animadversion', which is a cross between a movie review and film essay. The column also features a second review from film critic Farheen Jawaid, Jawaid's sister and fellow contributing film critic for iMAGES. Mr. Jawaid appeared Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on Bakhabar Savera, the weekday morning show at ARY NEWS.
